The website www.europa.ruhr is the information portal about our europe activities (“Information Portal”) operated by the Regionalverband Ruhr (Ruhr Regional Association - RVR) with its registered office in Essen.
The RVR is a public body.
The RVR Association area includes the independent cities of Bochum, Bottrop, Essen, Dortmund, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Hagen, Hamm, Herne, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Oberhausen, and the administrative districts of Recklinghausen, Wesel, Unna and Ennepe-Ruhr, with a total of around 5.1 million residents.
The focus of the statutory duties of the RVR is the well-being of the Ruhr Metropolis.
